An expert of the online publication BelNovosti, agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh shared a recipe for so-called rice water, which is said to be the best fertilizer for orchids.
To prepare it you will need 1 cup of cereal.
Using a kitchen grinder or coffee grinder, grind the rice to the consistency of rice flour, 1 teaspoon of which should be poured into 1 glass of clean cool water.
Leave the resulting mixture for 30 minutes at room temperature.
After half an hour, strain it through cheesecloth to remove the sediment.
That's it, actually - you need to fertilize orchids with rice water prepared according to this recipe once a month, pouring 5 teaspoons into the pot with the plant.
As a result of regular use, you will get lush and beautiful orchid blooms that were previously unavailable.
