Correct placement

Although gerberas like good lighting, they need shading during midday in the summer, so try to find a place for them on an eastern or western window. In winter, do not forget to provide additional lighting for the flowers - they need 12-13 hours of daylight.

Suitable temperature

During the flowering and growth periods, gerberas should be kept at a temperature of 20-25 degrees during the day and 18-20 at night. Their dormant period begins when the "degree" drops to 14-16. If the thermometer falls below 12 degrees, such a temperature is destructive for flowers. However, as are indicators above 30 degrees Celsius.

The right pot

To grow gerberas, choose containers made of unglazed ceramics, the diameter of which is 2-3 cm larger than the root system of the plant. In winter, the pot should be placed on a wooden stand.
