Many gardeners use manure as their main fertilizer and don’t even suspect that it is harmful to some plants.
Anastasia Kovrizhnykh, an expert of the online publication Belnovosti, agronomist and landscape designer, tells us which garden crops this fertilizer is not suitable for.
What plants are not suitable for manure
Firstly, only rotted manure can be used as fertilizer, otherwise you may be left without a harvest.
Secondly, some garden crops are generally contraindicated for organic fertilizers.
For example, beets, onions, radishes, radishes, potatoes, and tomatoes do not grow well in soil fertilized with manure.
Also, you shouldn’t fertilize the carrot bed with manure, it will crack.
Earlier, the expert told which flowers should not be planted in the same flowerbed.
