The banana peels need to be washed well and cut into small pieces. Then you need to put the peels in a three-liter jar and fill it with water. The jar needs to be closed with a lid and put in a dark and warm place for 2-3 days. You need to shake the jar periodically so that the tincture does not turn sour.

The finished tincture should be filtered through gauze or a sieve and diluted with water in a 1:1 ratio. The resulting solution can be used to water orchids once a month.

Banana tea

Banana tea is another way to fertilize orchids with banana peels. To make it, you will need the following ingredients:

• peel from 1 banana;

• 200 ml of water.

The banana peel should be dried on a radiator, in the sun or in the oven until completely hardened. Then you need to grind the peel in a blender or coffee grinder to a powder state. One teaspoon of powder should be poured with boiling water and infused for 10-15 minutes. When the tea cools down, it can be used for root feeding of orchids.

Banana tea can be given to orchids once every two weeks.

Banana powder

Banana powder is another option for fertilizing orchids with banana peels. To prepare it, you will need the following ingredients:
