To begin with, you should pour a layer of fallen leaves onto the bed, and then scatter superphosphate on top, directly over the foliage.
How to calculate the required amount of fertilizer? Approximate proportions - 30 g per 1 square meter.
In addition, you will need to bring several carts of fresh manure to the site, which should also be scattered on top of the bed.
After all the necessary “components” are in place, dig up the soil, then water the bed with ordinary water and cover with film.
Snow will soon fall, which will serve as additional cover, while the process of rotting of all the used “ingredients” will continue inside.
Please note: this bed is not suitable for all vegetables. The best choice would be pumpkin, squash, cucumbers, cabbage and tomatoes. And any root vegetables can be planted here only after a year.
