Every summer resident wants to protect cucumbers from diseases and yellowing.
It would seem that the only way to save the plant is to constantly check its condition and regularly use certain preparations.
However, the expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", scientist-agronomist and landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh assures: there is one remedy that only needs to be used once during the entire summer cottage season - and cucumbers will acquire maximum protection from diseases, and also retain their green color.
Of course, one must not forget about proper watering of the crop and timely application of fertilizers.
A lifesaver for cucumbers
To prevent garden crops from becoming ill, they need to be given boron fertilizer once a year.
We are talking about a ready-made product, which contains a microelement such as boron.
It is worth emphasizing that boron products work well in combination with nitrogen and potassium.
Therefore, it makes sense to prepare a complex fertilizer: per bucket of water - 0.5 tbsp. of boric fertilizer and a similar volume of urea or potassium humate.
The result will be a liquid that needs to be poured onto the soil in the bed where the cucumbers grow.
The result of the procedure should not only be the plant acquiring protection from diseases. The garden crop will most likely also yield a rich and high-quality harvest.
