Often in the cold season parasites appear because of indoor plants. Do not expect them to disappear on their own. On the contrary, there will be even more of them.

Why do insects appear?
The main reason is soil infested with parasites. If it is not treated, insect larvae will "sleep" in the flowerpot until a favorable moment.
Sometimes this is caused by the use of organic fertilizers.
Stagnant water or waterlogged soil in a flowerpot often contributes to the appearance of pests.
And, of course, midges appear from rotting vegetables, then settling in the soil of indoor plants.
How to get rid of insects
First, you need to isolate the affected plant, otherwise the pests will spread to all the flowers.
Secondly, the flower needs to be transplanted into another pot and it is essential to use clean and disinfected soil.
Thirdly, for preventive purposes, a light pink solution of potassium permanganate is used (0.1 g/1 liter of water).
The solution is used for watering once a week.
