Fertilization can safely be called one of the main factors in rose care.

An expert of the online publication BelNovosti, agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh told how to stimulate long and healthy flowering of the queen of flowers with the help of nutrition.

It turns out that for this you will need natural fertilizers.

For example, compost, which is a well-known source of easily digestible minerals, should be used in spring and autumn, scattered around rose bushes. The layer thickness should be 2-2.5 cm.

For better absorption, experts recommend pre-mixing compost with soil.

Don't forget about the benefits of manure for roses. This fertilizer can be used in March or October, mixed with the top layer of soil before application.

Another useful composition, thanks to which you will be able to achieve long-term flowering, is vermicompost.

To feed rose bushes, vermicompost is mixed with water in a watering can in a ratio of 1 to 2 and used throughout the growing season, applying it once a month.
