In August, you should pay special attention to feeding pumpkins if you want to grow large and sweet fruits.
With the help of correctly selected fertilizers, you can achieve very significant results.
Pumpkin does not require any expensive industrial complexes, so it will be possible to get by with quite affordable means, says Anastasia Kovrizhnykh, an expert of the online publication BelNovosti, a landscape designer and agronomist.
How to feed the crop in August?
Ash
Any options for using ash will be effective. Some simply sprinkle the component near the pumpkin and water it. Others make infusions for greater effectiveness.
Ash can also be added to any other fertilizer.
Herbal mixture
To prepare a valuable mixture, we will need only two plants. We are talking about dandelions and nettles. The plant material can be used together with the root system.
The plants are chopped with a shovel, filled with a bucket of water and left for two weeks.
Then we dilute the concentrate in a ratio of one to ten and feed the pumpkin.
