However, many, especially novice gardeners, are wary of growing this crop, considering this process to be extremely complex, says Anastasia Kovrizhnykh, an expert of the online publication BelNovosti, an agronomist and landscape designer.

This position, fortunately, is wrong, because even tomatoes can be fertilized using products that are familiar to us - for example, oatmeal.

Benefits of oatmeal for tomatoes

First, let's answer the question of what advantages oatmeal fertilizer has.

It turns out that cereals contain a large number of vitamins and microelements. For example, magnesium, contained in oatmeal, can have a beneficial effect on the development and strengthening of the root system of plants. Phosphorus, in turn, is needed during the flowering of the crop, and calcium is a guarantee of strong and durable shoots.
