Orchid is a popular indoor plant that captivates with its delicate flowering.
But at the same time, the fragile flower is distinguished by its capriciousness and does not always please with beautiful flowers.
Experienced gardeners know what to do to make an orchid bloom. To do this, the plant needs to be "shocked".
For example, you can put the flowerpot on the balcony overnight if the temperature does not drop below 16 degrees. You can repeat the procedure for about 7-10 days. During the day, it is better to return the plant to the house and protect it from direct sunlight.
You can also arrange a "bath day". The plant should be watered, and after half an hour put in the shower and doused with warm water (about 40 degrees). This procedure should continue for 2-3 minutes. After this, you need to put a plastic bag on the orchid for half an hour.
Then the flower should be thoroughly dried, paying special attention to the leaf axils. The flowerpot can be left in the bathroom until the morning.
The plant does not need to be watered or fed for another 15 days.
As gardeners note, eventually the first flower buds will be visible.
