To create a stunningly beautiful rose garden on your property, you don’t have to go to the market to buy seedlings.

Expert of the online publication BelNovosti, scientist-agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh told how to grow the flower yourself. The method is suitable for those who already have several rose bushes growing on their plot.

Do not throw away the cuttings left after pruning an adult bush - after making sure that there are three knots on each branch, put them aside, just like a sharp knife and garden shears, as well as a container and sand.

Use a knife to trim off the bottom of each cutting, then begin preparing the box.

Make drainage holes in the bottom and fill the container with sand – preferably a lot of it.

All that remains is to place the prepared rose cuttings in the ground, leaving a distance of approximately 4-5 cm between them.

After a month, the cuttings should take root, producing leaves and roots. Daily watering is a must.

After this, the seedlings can be carefully removed from the sand and planted in the designated area.
