The whole point is that the soil in which your “green pets” grow has an expiration date.
Due to constant watering, nutrients are washed out over time, in addition, they are constantly absorbed by the plant itself, and as a result, the soil mixture becomes useless.
Because of this, the flower’s growth slows down, its immunity decreases – and hello, numerous diseases.
