An expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh told us by what signs one can recognize high-quality fertilizer.

These include, first of all, a loose structure, as well as a pleasant earthy smell.

You can only get this type of fertilizer if you fill your compost pit with ingredients that are suitable for this purpose.

These are, first of all, green leaves and herbs, beet and carrot tops, crushed and chopped stems and branches.

It is permitted to use kitchen waste from vegetables and fruits, as well as coffee grounds, tea leaves, eggshells and mushrooms for composting.

Also worth including in this list are paper products, including napkins and paper towels, as well as cardboard (without a pattern or film).

Finally, the final component on this list will be straw, hay and natural fibers.
