The fact that radishes grow with a bitter taste scares few people. Only one thing does not suit summer residents: the root vegetable is small, and also tastes bad.
In fact, growing a gorgeous harvest of the first vegetables is not so difficult. You just need to know what to water the bed with so that the radishes grow large and sweet.
It is believed that this crop does not really like various fertilizers, but it cannot do without them either.
Summer residents claim that it is simply impossible to harvest without adding the following additives.
How to feed radishes
1. One of the popular nitrogen-containing additives is chicken manure infusion. The fertilizer is prepared from 1 part manure and 3 parts water.
The ingredients are mixed and left to infuse for 3 days.
The result is a concentrate that must be dissolved in water in a ratio of 1:10 before use.
Then use it to water the beds.
2. Another recipe for folk fertilizers involves the use of yeast, dry yeast at that.
In this case, 10 grams of powder are mixed with 100 grams of sugar and dissolved in warm water.
After 3 hours, the concentrate is diluted with water in a ratio of 1:5, and then the bed is watered.
3. Another option for feeding radishes is to dissolve 300 grams of wood ash in 10 liters of clean water.
The solution is then left to infuse for 24 hours, after which it is used for watering.
