When is it right to plant onions in open ground
Many people make mistakes when they do not pay due attention to the timing of planting crops.
It is useful to plant onions in a garden bed in consistently warm weather, when the soil is warm enough and suitable for work.
Usually, they try to sow onions at the end of April – beginning of May, if the air temperature remains within the range of 11-13 degrees Celsius.
Preparing the garden bed
Plant the onions in a well-lit area and make sure to pre-dig the bed, fertilize it with manure and compost if necessary.
Remember that onions are not planted in the same bed every year.

Planting onions will be successful if you follow the lunar calendar, according to which there are still many days left in May when you can plant onions.
These days will be: 4, 9, 10, 13, 14, 22, 23, 24, 27, 30, 31.
