Every summer resident should have a first aid kit, and everyone equips it in their own way, based on their health condition.
But there is one drug that should be kept in the first aid kit regardless of whether the gardener feels well or not. These tablets act as a fertilizer booster.
It is believed that the maximum effect from fertilizers can be achieved by making liquid compositions.
And even these additives can be enhanced by adding one pharmaceutical product – glycine.
How to proceed
Summer residents claim that even expired tablets can be used for this purpose.
You will need 100 mg of glycine per 1 liter of water. This product enhances the effect of fertilizers, which include microelements such as copper, zinc, manganese, magnesium, iron, calcium, nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium.
Using glycine and calcium gluconate can help combat blossom-end rot in nightshades and other crops.
Glycine solution can also be used for foliar feeding (100 mg per 10 l of water), which increases the content of magnesium, phosphorus and sulfur in plants.
