Experienced gardeners say that you cannot apply fertilizer directly to the roots of such plants.

It is possible to apply funds in this way only in early spring. But at the same time, you can use ash and Bordeaux mixture, spray the plants. But all this is needed more for prevention from diseases and pests.

If you pour other fertilizers directly under the root, then there is a high risk of root rot. As a result, you can forget about lush and bright flowers.

All products must be applied 20 centimeters away from the bush, along the perimeter of the crown.

But what to feed the plants with in spring? During this period, nitrogen is needed so that the bushes can grow green mass.

You can use mullein, which should be mixed with water in a ratio of 1 to 10. You can take a spoon of ammonium nitrate for a 10-liter bucket of water.

First, the soil should be watered from a watering can so that the roots are not damaged.

Fertilizers should be applied around the perimeter of the crown.
