You can sow asters for seedlings throughout the first half of spring.
An expert of the online publication BelNovosti, agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh told how to sow seeds so that you can enjoy the sight of strong shoots after just a week.
1. Fill plastic containers with substrate.
As a substrate, you can use a mixture of leaf soil and sand, taken in equal quantities.
2. Scatter the seeds over the surface of the soil, deepening them by about 1 cm.
3. Now the soil should be moistened, using a sprayer instead of a watering can, after which the containers should be covered with a transparent lid.
4. Take the containers with future seedlings to a light and warm place. While they are here, do not allow the soil in the containers to dry out.
In addition, ventilate the room daily by removing the lid for 15 minutes each day.
5. After the shoots appear, the lids can be removed permanently, and the seedlings can be moved to a slightly cooler place, where the air temperature is no longer +22, but +18-20 degrees.
