A similar rule applies to cucumbers. The plant cannot be planted in the same place two years in a row. However, not every crop can be planted after cucumbers.
What should not be planted after cucumbers
Such a bed cannot be occupied by related crops. We are talking about representatives of the pumpkin family:

- melon.
What to plant after cucumbers
There are many plant options that can take the place of cucumbers in the new season. First of all, these are plants whose fruits grow in the ground: onions, garlic, carrots, beets, radishes, horseradish, daikon, celery, potatoes.
In the bed after cucumbers you can plant dill, caraway, cilantro, parsley. Tomatoes, eggplants, physalis, as well as peas, beans, chickpeas and other legumes will feel comfortable here.
It is acceptable to plant corn, sorrel, mint, and lemon balm after cucumbers.
