Experienced gardeners know very well that peppers are demanding of soil quality, so it is necessary to enrich it with valuable substances in advance.

As a rule, fertilization occurs in the fall so that the garden is ready by spring.

However, it is possible to add nutrients directly into the hole, says Anastasia Kovrizhnykh, an expert of the online publication BelNovosti, a landscape designer and agronomist.

What compositions are worth paying attention to?

Superphosphate

This fertilizer can be safely used when planting peppers, as it ensures normal growth and development of the vegetable crop.

For each seedling, take half a small spoon of fertilizer.

Compost

The important point is that the compost must be at least three years old before it can be used for planting peppers.

Take a scoop of fertilizer per hole.

Ash

Some people add the valuable component to the hole, but you can do it easier: after you have planted the pepper, sprinkle a couple of spoons of ash next to the seedling.
