Spring has come, and along with the warmth, insects are awakening, including those that could have peacefully continued to sleep and no one would have remembered them.
First of all, this concerns garden and horticultural pests, which bother summer residents even more than mosquitoes and flies. Let's remember how to fight aphids.
The presence of this small pest remains unnoticed until the plants in the beds begin to wilt, while the gardener diligently adheres to the watering schedule.
In this case, pests will not only be able to suck all the strength and juices out of the plant, but also infect the plants.
Summer residents fight aphids in a variety of ways. They simply wash the aphids off with water, but this is not a solution.
To deal with the pest, you need to prepare a soda solution with aspirin.
How to cook
You will need one tablespoon of baking soda and one teaspoon of dishwashing liquid.
Also add one tablespoon of vegetable oil and crush one aspirin tablet into powder.
All this is mixed and dissolved in 4.5 liters of water.
Then the mixture is poured into a garden sprayer or a spray bottle and the plantings are treated at intervals of once every two weeks.
Plants are treated early in the morning or after sunset.
