Plant damage by aphids is a problem that any gardener will have to face sooner or later.
To combat the pest, the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, scientist-agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh suggests using specialized products from the store or creating an effective preparation with your own hands.
The latter is what we will talk about today.
So, for this purpose, an infusion of pine needles is suitable, because aphids cannot stand the substances that are present here.
To prepare the remedy, the needles should be finely chopped with an axe, then poured into a bucket filled with water and mixed.
Leave the container with the future "medicine" for a week to infuse. Important: the container should be covered with a lid.
Before use, the pine needle infusion must be strained through a sieve, after which it can be poured into a spray bottle.
According to plant growers who have tested the effectiveness of the product in their gardens and vegetable gardens, 2-3 treatments are enough to no longer encounter aphids.
