The entire first half of spring is considered the ideal time to sow asters for seedlings.

In order to admire friendly shoots in just a week, the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, scientist-agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh advises adhering to the following plan of action.

1. To begin with, of course, it is worth filling the plastic containers that you plan to use for sowing asters with substrate.

A mixture of equal volumes of sand and leaf soil is ideal for this purpose.

2. Now scatter the seeds, burying them about 2 cm deep.

3. Moisten the substrate by spraying water from a spray bottle, then cover the containers with seeds with a transparent lid.

4. Take the containers to a warm and bright place. Do not forget to remove the lid for 15 minutes every day to air the crops, and also moisten the soil in a timely manner.

5. Once the shoots are noticed, the lids should be removed completely.

Now you can move the seedlings to a cooler place, where the temperature is maintained at +18-20 degrees, and continue simple care, including picking, watering and fertilizing with nitrogen fertilizer (ammonium nitrate is excellent).
