In the spring, you need to think about treating garden crops from pests that can not only spoil the harvest, but also infect bushes and trees with various diseases.
Each crop has its own set of parasites, and some of them are not averse to spreading from neighboring plants.
We will tell you how you can treat black and red currant bushes.
In early spring, you need to water the bushes with a simple solution that can be prepared right in the kitchen.
To prepare you will need:
- baking soda - 10 tbsp;
- laundry soap;
- water - 5 liters.
You can use liquid soap or soap shavings. It is used as a so-called adhesive.
Dissolve 10 tablespoons of baking soda in water and wait until the soap is completely dissolved.
The mixture is used to treat bushes. The consumption per bush is approximately 4-6 liters.
The treatment is carried out immediately after the snow melts.
Spray the bushes thoroughly in the morning or evening, in dry and windless weather. If necessary, you can repeat the treatment for preventive purposes.
