Experienced gardeners are sure that the best time for planting gladioli is at the end of winter – beginning of spring, in general, as soon as it becomes possible to cultivate the soil.
As a rule, this period coincides with March-April.
Bulbs planted at this time will have time to take root before the real heat hits the ground, which can cause the bulbs to dry out and reduce flowering.
