The biggest stupidity that many gardeners make in the spring: you will regret it

With the arrival of the undoubtedly long-awaited spring, avid summer residents literally have their hands itching to do something useful on their plot.

However, sometimes ill-considered decisions lead to the fact that there is simply no benefit from the time and effort spent.

Thus, among the useless activities that are often encountered among plant growers, the palm of primacy deservedly goes to scattering mineral fertilizers on the snow.

This work can be called not only pointless, but even harmful.

After all, by generously scattering nutrient compounds over the snow, you are literally throwing money down the drain.

Remember: mineral fertilizers should only be added to the soil. Even if the plantings are mulched in the fall, usually with organic matter, manure humus or compost, you should rake away the mulch, add fertilizers and lay the mulching material again.

The same nutrients that were in the fertilizers, scattered on top of the snow, will not be fixed in the soil-absorbing complex.

Instead, they will be washed away and disappear with the melt water.
