Dracaena is a truly amazing plant that can not only please the owner’s eye with lush greenery, but also humidify the air and rid it of various toxins.
Moreover, caring for the flower is not difficult, says Anastasia Kovrizhnykh, an expert of the online publication BelNovosti, an agronomist and landscape designer.
The flower requires diffused light, regular watering, which should be done only with warm water, as well as fertilizing with phosphorus and potassium fertilizers.
However, even such a seemingly unpretentious plant has certain requirements.
First of all, dracaena demonstrates its “character” in relation to air humidity.
So, if the air in the room where the flower pot is located is too dry, the dracaena leaves will certainly curl.
Therefore, try to keep the humidity level in the room around 50-60%.
If it is difficult to achieve such indicators, place the flowerpot in a tray with pebbles, which will have to be constantly moistened.
And to improve the process of photosynthesis, regularly wipe the flower leaves with a damp cloth.
