We are talking about the choice of high-quality seed material, the desirability of growing through seedlings, the correct planting of the crop and actions to stimulate the fruiting of the plant.
Equally important is the correct application of fertilizers: at the right time and in the right quantity.
The secret to high zucchini yields is triple fertilizing of the crop. In other words, the plant should be fertilized three times during the entire summer season.
First feeding
The first procedure should be carried out 10 days after transplanting the seedlings into open ground.
During this period, the plant needs nitrogen. The emphasis should be on "organic matter". Herbal infusion will be especially useful for garden crops.
The remedy is made as follows: take the plant mass (plantain, nettle stems, dandelion leaf blades), place it in a barrel and fill it with water.
The mass should be infused in a closed container for at least a week. The resulting liquid should be diluted with clean water 10 times.
Second feeding
Immediately after flowering begins, the zucchini should be fed with the same product as in the previous case.
The thing is that garden crops still need nitrogen. And in fairly large quantities.
Third feeding
But during the period when fruits begin to form, the gardener must replenish the potassium deficiency in the soil.
Unburned wood residues will come to the rescue. Two liters of ash should be put into a bucket. The remaining volume of the container should be filled with water.
After 24 hours, the ideal fertilizer for zucchini will be ready.
