According to the lunar calendar, the following days will be considered favorable:
- for sowing tomato seeds for seedlings: in March – 1-3, 6, 9-12, 16-17, 20, 24-30, in April – 3-5, 7-9, 12-13;
- for planting tomatoes in a greenhouse: in April – 16-17, 21-26, 30, in May – 1-4, 6, 9-10, 13-14, 18, 20-24, 28-31;
- for planting tomatoes in open ground: in May – 1-4, 6, 9-10, 13-14, 18, 20-24, 28-31, in June – 1-3, 5-6, 10-11, 14-15;
- for picking tomatoes: in March – 15, 26-29, 30, in April – 3-6, 13, 23-26, 30.
You can choose the best time to sow seeds if you take into account where the tomatoes will grow: in a greenhouse or open ground.
It is better to plant tomatoes in the beds when the threat of frost has passed.
