Summer residents have dubbed parsley the most capricious greens, which “shows its character” at the germination stage.
Because of this, many growers grow this crop through seedlings, performing many manipulations with the seeds.
However, in order for parsley to “ear” in the beds, it is worth using only one secret technique.
It consists of sowing parsley not in early spring, but when the soil has already warmed up well.
Gardeners have come to this conclusion based on many years of experience. According to their observations, if you put the seeds in the ground as soon as it thaws, at the end of April, the beds will be half empty.
But if you move the sowing dates to the end of May – beginning of June, it will sprout in dense rows in 5-6 days.
Moreover, the difference between beds of parsley planted at different times will disappear after just a week.
Finally, here's another trick - try leaving the parsley for the second year - from the roots left in the ground from autumn, parsley grows back very early in the spring.
