Experienced flower growers told us what action will help awaken “feminine happiness” after three months of “hibernation”.
According to them, unfavorable conditions need to be created for the spathiphyllum. But this should be done carefully, without fanaticism, otherwise you can only harm the flower.
At the end of February or the beginning of March, “women’s happiness” is removed from the windowsill, where the heating radiator is working at full blast.
The plant is transferred to a glazed balcony or other room where it is light and not hot, but cool.
So, for spathiphyllum the shock temperature will be +10 …+14 °C. If it is cold on the balcony at night, then it is better to return the flower to the apartment before the morning.
Two weeks of life at a temperature of +10 …+14 °C will ensure abundant flowering of "women's happiness". After a short "exile" the flower is returned to its original place, fed and pruned, if necessary.
