If the soil for radishes was not prepared in the fall, a simple spring fertilizing scheme will help.
Radishes are sown early, before the soil dries out, so fertilizing with digging is excluded.
First feeding
The first thing that radishes and many other plants need is nitrogen. Chicken manure contains plenty of it. The raw material is poured with water in a ratio of 1:3 and infused for 3 days. A sure sign that the fertilizer is ready is the absence of bubbles on the surface.
The fertilizer is concentrated, so it must be diluted with water in a ratio of 1:10.
Second feeding
Another valuable infusion is prepared on the basis of dry yeast (10 g) and sugar (100 g). The ingredients are poured with warm water (10 l) and infused for 3 hours. Then the starter is diluted with water in a ratio of 1:5.
Third feeding
For the next solution you will need ash, but not wood ash, but ash from burning grass, fruit tree leaves, potato tops. The choice is explained by the fact that such ash contains more potassium.
For 10 liters of water, use 300-350 g of raw material. The fertilizer is infused for a day, and then the plants are watered at the roots.
