Experienced gardeners know that potatoes need not only to be planted, but also to be looked after throughout their development.

Even compost prepared using the greens of this crop should be used with caution when it comes to potatoes.

The fungus will die only if the compost heap warms up to 50 °C. If the fertilizer is prepared according to all the rules, the pathogen will be destroyed. Nothing will come of it if you simply throw tomato tops to weeds and other organic matter.
