Many summer residents know that in order to get a luxurious onion harvest, you need to sweat a lot.

The vegetable is quite unique and requires special attention. The basis for a good harvest can be laid at the planting stage.

Experienced gardeners have identified three actions that will certainly have a positive effect on the onion harvest.

Storage of seed onions

The planting material should be stored at a positive temperature. If the onion is overcooled, it will tend to reproduce. In this case, it will shoot up at the first opportunity.

Processing of bulbs

Almost any planting material needs to be treated to protect against fungus. A solution of potassium permanganate is a reliable remedy. In addition, the bulbs can be rolled in ash or soot.
