Hydrogen peroxide is often used to disinfect seeds, which helps fight microbes and rot. Soaking seeds in the same liquid accelerates metabolic processes, softens the shell, which ultimately contributes to their rapid germination. The solution is prepared from 1 teaspoon of 3% peroxide in 200 ml of water, the seeds are first kept in clean water for 20 minutes, and then in the solution for 12 hours.

In addition, an infusion of onion peel, nettle leaves and an infusion of dried mushrooms are used for the same purpose.
