If you want your plot to be decorated with peony bushes with lush green foliage and large flowers with a stunning aroma, you cannot do without feeding.

An expert of the online publication Belnovosti, agronomist, and landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh told how to fertilize a flowerbed so that an inflorescence forms on each peony stem.

As soon as the snow melts and the soil warms up, make several holes, stepping back 5-6 cm from the bush.

Fill the holes in the ground with 50 g of ammonium nitrate and 50 g of superphosphate, while not forgetting to loosen the soil - this will ensure the flow of air to the roots of the plant.

When you notice that the peony has started to sprout, use a mullein solution obtained by diluting it with water in a ratio of 1 to 10 and letting it sit for 3 days.

One bush will need 3 liters of the resulting nutrient liquid. Fertilizer should be applied to moist soil. During this period, it is also worth mulching the plantings - for example, with humus or compost.

Finally, during budding, you should carry out complex feeding, for which you will need to dissolve 15 g of ammonium nitrate, 5 g of potassium salt and 10 g of superphosphate in a bucket with a volume of 10 liters.

Note: it is better to first dilute the last ingredient in hot water at 70 degrees.
