Many summer residents grow onions in their gardens.

The crop is unpretentious, produces a good harvest with minimal care, and the green mass is perfect for preparing healthy salads.

But it happens that onion feathers begin to turn yellow long before the due date.

In such situations, immediate action must be taken to eliminate the problem.

A simple top dressing of a bucket of water and 2 tablespoons of ammonia will help in this situation.

The beds should be well moistened beforehand. Watering should be done at the roots, but after sunset, and it is important that the product does not get on the feathers.

A 2-day infusion of ash is also effective. A liter of concentrate should be diluted in a bucket of water before watering the beds.

Gardeners also note the benefits of potassium sulfate.

To prepare the fertilizer, you only need to take one matchbox of the product per liter of water. This fertilizer should be used after watering with clean water.
