Experienced gardeners have developed an exact formula for abundant fruiting of the tree. The secret lies in two fertilizers.
The tree may not have enough resources to form fruits. If no fertilizers were applied in the fall, then this must be done in the spring.
First feeding
Experienced gardeners start the season with a fertilizer consisting of urea and potassium sulfate. Take 2 tablespoons of each and dilute in 10 liters of water.
It is applied under the root when the plum is just beginning to form buds.
Second feeding
When the first flowers appear, prepare the second fertilizer. Take 3 tablespoons of nitrophoska per 10 liters of water.
Fertilizer is applied under the roots, and then the trees can be mulched (wood chips, moss, sawdust, hay, agrofibre).
Thanks to this, moisture will evaporate more slowly, weeds will not bother and the plant will receive additional nutrition if we are talking about organic mulch.
