The bed for cucumbers is prepared in advance: dug up and fertilized.

Greens are extremely gluttonous; they are ready to gobble up any fertilizer, especially organic matter.

Green manure and waste are dug into the soil, compost is added, and to make the organic matter rot faster, you can add a couple of handfuls of ammonium nitrate.

Small holes are prepared for cucumbers. And here is what needs to be put in them.

How to feed cucumbers

Place a few superphosphate granules at the bottom of the holes, which will prove to be a real find for plant roots.

The finished bed needs to be watered generously so that the soil compacts a little, and left for 6-8 days to settle.

When planting cucumbers, put everything useful for the growth and development of the crop in the holes. But potassium will be a particularly valuable fertilizer. Without it, cucumber leaves can dry out and curl up. It is best to use potassium sulfate as a top dressing.

Nitrogen fertilizers are placed in the holes - azofoska. Urea can be added.

The fertilizers are sprinkled with soil so that the cucumber roots do not get burned.
