Usually, they are purchased in garden stores. But skilled gardeners make them themselves. The result is the same, but you can save money.
How to make peat tablets
1. For work you will need a plastic bottle and universal soil. One container allows you to make 2 peat tablets.
2. Cut off the top and bottom of the bottle. Only the middle is needed.
3. This part of the bottle is cut into 2 parts and each is twisted into a ring, the diameter of which is approximately 4-5 cm.
4. Then you will need a stapler or rubber bands. With their help, fix the resulting structure. Then fill the containers with soil and sow the seeds for seedlings.
5. The tablets are placed in a large container. The bottom of the box is first filled with vermiculite, sand or sawdust.
