When starting to fight ants, you need to remember that insects do not like strong smells. Therefore, gardeners will help such completely safe means as essential oil or fragrant herbs.
You can combine these two means. Bundles of herbs (mint, sage, chamomile, oregano, hyssop, lemon balm, savory, coriander) are hung and laid out around the greenhouse.
Essential oil is dissolved in water and the resulting liquid is used to lubricate the walls of the structure. The amount of product needed is enough to create a persistent smell.
For similar purposes, you can use ammonia. Dissolve 2-3 tablespoons of the product in 5 liters of water, and then spray the solution on the ants' favorite areas. Then the greenhouse needs to be ventilated and all work in the greenhouse should be postponed until it has aired out.
