If slugs have settled in a garden plot, then over time they can fill it entirely and then it will be very difficult to get rid of them.

Gardeners share very simple, inexpensive and effective means of combating these pests.

One of the means is ammonia, 10% solution. It has helped many times when no chemicals helped.

It can also be used on the site when the harvest is in full swing.

To prepare the product, dissolve 3 tablespoons of ammonia in 1 liter of water and treat the areas where slugs accumulate the most.

The effect of this product is that these insects do not like strong smells.

When the solution comes into contact with their body, it can cause a severe burn, resulting in the immediate death of the slugs.

Another method that has proven itself to be quite good is regular beer.

Place a few dandelion leaves in plastic cups, pour beer on top and bury them in the ground to the very edge in the place where the slugs are most concentrated.

They like the pungent smell of beer, so they climb into the cups, eat dandelion leaves and poison themselves with beer.
