You won't find a worse fertilizer for potatoes: it is often used by novice gardeners

Even novice gardeners know that vegetable crops need organic fertilizers.

But some gardeners don’t even realize that when choosing fertilizer they can make a serious mistake.

By adding this fertilizer, summer residents believe that they are doing everything right. But in practice, the entire harvest can practically “burn” or dry out.

We are talking about fresh manure, which many people use instead of rotted manure. The former contains a lot of ammonia.

This component is a fertilizer, it promotes the growth of green mass. But at high concentrations, ammonia becomes a threat to plants.

It burns the roots and can kill the potatoes. It can be applied, but you need to be careful. Fresh manure is diluted in water in a ratio of 1:10.

As for rotted manure, it is safer for plants. Compost is also a great option for potatoes. On average, a bucket is added per 1 sq. m.

Organic matter is used every year, because after each season the soil loses a lot of nutrients, and over time it can become completely depleted.
