Even a novice gardener can grow a luxurious beet harvest.
Proper feeding will help you achieve amazing results.
But it is important to remember that growing vegetables and fruits is hard work, and you won’t get a great harvest by simply throwing seeds into the ground.
Plant care begins from the moment of planting and reaches its peak during the period of emergence, when seedlings especially need nutrition.
As soon as the first leaves appear, the beet will be waiting for nitrogen fertilizer. It is applied when the first 3-4 leaves delight the summer resident's eyes.
In this case, you can choose one of three fertilizers that will give young plants everything they need.
Fertilizer for beets
1. Bird droppings. Fertilizer is mixed with water in a ratio of 1:15.
2. Urea solution. For every 10 liters of water, use 1 tbsp. of the substance.
3. Mullein solution. The fertilizer is diluted with water in a ratio of 1:10.
The first feeding lays the foundation for the future harvest. But you shouldn't overdo it with nitrogen fertilizers, you also need other macronutrients. For example, potassium and phosphorus.
