Summer residents continue to work even in winter. Therefore, they grow seedlings for further transplantation to a permanent growing place.

Here you need to follow certain rules, as some of the plants are planted even in January.

Lobelia

This flower has a long development cycle of up to 80 days, so it is planted in January.

Prepare soil with a low acidity level, mix the seeds with sand and spread over the surface.

Before planting, the soil should be moistened. Then cover everything with film and spray the seedlings every day.

The first shoots will appear in 14 days. After that, the seedlings can be moved to a well-lit place.

Carnation Shabo

This plant produces flowers only 6 months after planting. Therefore, it is better to sow in January.

Fill the container with fertile soil and form 3 mm furrows. Pour seeds into them and sprinkle with river sand.

Cover the seedlings with film and place them in a bright place.

Begonia

This plant will require sand and leaf soil in a ratio of 1:2.

First you need to moisten the soil and then plant the seeds in it.

Cover with film and place in a warm place at a temperature of 20-22 degrees Celsius. After the shoots appear, periodically remove the cover for a short time.

If you carry out these tasks in advance, the seedlings will be in the right condition for transplanting into open ground.
