Houseplants are not immune to pests. Flowers and other decorative crops can be attacked by spider mites, whiteflies and even annoying aphids.
Taking into account the peculiarities of the indoor microclimate, gardeners recommend using folk methods, which are no less effective.
We prepare a homemade solution against house aphids.
Industrial chemistry is effective. The only disappointing thing is that it will have to be used in a residential area.
If you leave the pest alone, it will soon multiply and destroy young shoots.
To prepare a homemade solution you will need:
- citrus peel – 0.5 liters;
- 1 liter of water.
How to cook
The peel of any citrus fruit must be collected, dried, and then crushed.
Then the citrus powder should be dissolved in one liter of settled water at room temperature and the mixture should be left to infuse for 24 hours.
Then the infusion must be brought to a boil, strained, and dissolved in 10 liters of water.
After this, you can begin treating indoor plants using a spray bottle.
