Experienced gardeners shared their recipe for feeding anthurium, which people call “male happiness”.
Without fertilizer, any flower will eventually begin to wither and fade. Plants need nutrition to build up green mass and buds.
Not all gardeners prefer to use special preparations for "green pets". Some cope with folk remedies, which are more accessible and the result is no worse.
Fertilizer for anthurium can be found in the kitchen. It turned out that a product based on oat flakes helps the flower recover from winter hibernation.
For one liter of water take 4 tablespoons of flakes. The mixture is beaten in a blender and then filtered through a sieve or colander.
The resulting liquid is the anthurium fertilizer. It is applied under the root once a month. The most suitable time for its use is the end of February or the beginning of March.
