Not all lovers of indoor flowers know when it is best to transplant them.

An expert of the online publication Belnovosti, agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh revealed the basic rules for replanting at different times of the year.

So, in spring, as you know, the plant leaves the sleep phase. During the rest period, it has gained enough strength to actively grow and please you with its flowering.

This is why March, April and May are considered the best months for replanting, since it will be easier for the flower to get used to new conditions and cope with the stress that inevitably arises from a change of “place of residence”.

In most cases, the flowering period occurs in summer. If you see buds hatching, the transplant operation should be postponed until better times.

The period from the beginning of autumn is considered an unfavorable time for replanting. You should take on a new pot only if you see that the plant no longer fits in the old pot.

Finally, a word about winter. As the cold weather sets in, plants begin to hibernate. Because every process slows down, recovery will take much longer, putting the plant at risk of getting sick or being attacked by parasites.

Due to the above mentioned features, it is better to wait with the transplant.
