In addition to the usual money tree, violets, aloe and other indoor plants, you can find exotic plants on the windowsills, such as oranges, lemons, avocados, and mangoes.

The fruits of these plants are easy to find in a store, but growing them at home is a separate task, which many undertake out of pure curiosity.

But experienced gardeners have warned that it is worth abandoning dreams of exotic fruits on the windowsill. Growing papaya or mango in an apartment is practically a useless endeavor.

According to experts, it is almost impossible to bring these plants to fruiting if we are talking about growing them on a windowsill.

Gardeners indicated that most of those who threw a mango seed into the ground were satisfied with a beautiful green plant.

Fruiting can only be achieved with a large amount of soil, and you will have to wait quite a long time for this to happen.

Therefore, experts believe that at home, mango can only be used for landscaping.
